WE LOVE KIDS
Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there. –Matthew 19:13-15
Children are important to God! Our kids are the future of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They are the hope of the world and they are precious to us!
Our children’s Director, Mary Ellen Hodges, is a career elementary school educator (music teacher) and is passionate about our kid’s learning about Jesus. For more information about our Kid’s program and curriculums, call the church office: 428-7974.

KIDS PROGRAMS:
Children’s Church is held upstairs in the Castle Room during our 10:30 a.m. worship service.
Our kids experience age appropriate study, fellowship, crafts, and praise in this fun environment. The first Sunday of the month our kids get a special missions lesson where they are reminded of the connection they have as Christians to the world through the Great Commission. The rest of the month, they experience creative Bible studies that dynamically connect them with their need for Jesus. Our devoted and faithful teachers take our kids spiritual lives seriously and instill a passion for Christ through their examples.
On the last Sunday of the month the kids worship with the adults and enjoy a special Children’s Sermon with Pastor Bethany. It is important to us to with one voice glorify our Heavenly Father. We make sure that the last Sunday is fun for everyone as we worship, study God’s Word, and celebrate the Holy Sacrament of Communion as a church family.
We are a people united in the Spirit of God with the mission to spread the Kingdom of Heaven through God’s love!
Midweek Kid’s Program is held in Castle Room from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday nights as part of our Wednesday Family Night. Families can come between 5:30 and 6:30 and have a simple meal and then head off to age appropriate classes.

MVCN NURSERY
Our nursery is staffed by our capable and loving nursery director, Darlene Wenrick and qualified volunteers each week. The nursery is available for kids from 0-3 yrs of age from 9 a.m. until after the service on Sundays. We also offer nursery service for many special services (call church office for details: 428-7974).

QUIET ROOM AVAILABLE
MVCN offers a quiet room for parents and babies use during the Sunday morning Worship Service. This room is equipped with rockers and changing table and is designed for feeding, changing, or sleeping babies. The quiet room is down the nursery hallway and is the last door on the left.
